7月9日（水）、本学幸町南キャンパスにて、香川県北警察署のご協力のもと、本学の留学生および外国人研究者等を対象とした「自転車交通安全セミナー」を開催しました。
本セミナーには約10名が参加し、前半は講義形式で、日本における自転車の交通ルールやマナーや防災について学びました。
後半は実際に自転車に乗っての実地訓練を行い、交通ルールの理解を深めるとともに、安全に自転車を利用するための実践的な指導を受けました。

このセミナーは、交通ルールに不慣れな外国人学生や研究者が、安全かつ安心して自転車を利用できるよう支援することを目的としており、今後も定期的な開催を検討しております。
参加した皆さんが、日本での生活を安全に、そして快適に過ごしてくれることを心より願っております。

On Wednesday, July 9, we held a Bicycle Traffic Safety Seminar at Saiwai-cho South Campus, with support from the Kagawa Kita Police Station!
International students and researchers from various countries joined the event to learn how to ride safely in Japan.
In the first half of the seminar, participants attended a lecture on Japanese traffic rules, bicycle manners, and disaster preparedness?
The police explained important but tricky points of road signs and lane markings, in which even Japanese people sometimes get wrong!
In the second half, some participants got on a bike for hands-on training.
They practiced safe riding and even tried on drunk goggles to experience the dangers of riding under the influence?
This seminar aims to help international students and researchers ride safely and confidently in Japan.
